Albany Records and the Dallas Chamber Symphony have just released Chasing Home, a 24-minute piece for oud, piano and chamber orchestra by Joseph Thalken, originally commissioned by Bruce Wood Dance in 2017. The recording is conducted by the Dallas Chamber Symphony's artistic director, Richard McKay, and is produced by the Grammy Award-winning producer Adam Abeshouse. The companion piece on this release is Aaron Copland's Appalachian Spring. Available to stream on all platforms and to purchase as a C.D.
